Just my size!

Traeger loves to play with his 'house'. It is the coolest little play house. The doorbell rings, he can turn on the front light and his favorite part is crawling through the front door. Some generous woman from our church was getting rid of toys her kids had outgrown and gave them to us. We appreciate God's little blessings! They come in all different "shapes" and "sizes."

Bigger and better things!

Apparently, Traeger's toys are getting a little boring because as of late he has been opening and digging into every drawer he can reach. He's still working on the refrid. door. I'm sure he'll master that soon enough :O)!

Spring is in the air!

Grandpa and Nana spent some of their Spring Break with us. We loved going for a walk, playing Settlers and chatting. Nana showed Traeger his first Spring flower! They also watched Traeger for a day while we got away to Wausau! We really enjoyed having them here and look forward to the next time we see them!

Hotel adventures!

The Bohn/Patrick/Hatfield clans all met up at a hotel in Weston two weekends ago! We had fun hanging out and playing in the pool. Traeger even got in on action!

Happy 10 Month Birthday Traegaroo!

We celebrate our big guy who offically is pulling up on EVERYTHING (including a ladder step his dad just climbed), eating more table food than before, and waving hi to anyone who walks by! Daddy's football and basketball are two of Traeger's favorite toys . Another favorite is saying the word ball and pointing to it.
We love you bud!

Leaky Faucet

Traeger's nose hasn't stopped running for the last 24 hours.

Not real sure which bug he got but it's not a fun one and we're

praying it doesn't progress to anything more.

The drainage had Traeger waking up every 2 hours last night.

Here Traeger is managing to stay in happy spirits despite his "leaky faucet."

Lunch Guests

Thanks to the D family for coming into town on Friday for some Happy Joes fun! We had fun catching up and playing together!

Adventures in Traeger's land!

Traeger likes to play under his exersaucer and eat up the left over cheerios

from past play times. He had found them all and was on his way to the next adventure by the time I found him in the bathroom doing this.

Around lunch time, while we were waiting for Daddy to come home, Traeger and I ventured out for a walk and enjoyed the beautiful sunny day! We walked down by the river and watched all the ducks swimming in the water.

Traeger's new found "trick" is to pull himself up in his crib, which we just lowered to the last point yesterday. When I went in to check on him during nap time I found him pulled up and WITHOUT PANTS. Check it out. I have no idea how he managed that one, but I laughed so hard my eyes were watering, and yes, for those of you who know me all too well, I had to run to the bathroom :O)! Maybe it was one of those "you had to be there moments," but he made me laugh pretty hard!

Sign of the times!

Apparently, we have been running a little too much because yesterday Traeger was so tired that he didn't even wake up when we took him out of his car seat or while we were changing his diaper. He slept through it all! That has never happened before but I think we have just been on the go so much that he had reached his limit!

Exploring

This morning I was scrapbooking and took my eye off Traeger for about 3 seconds to type names on the computer and when I turned back I found him pulled up and checking in my scrapbook bin. I'm sure he was just making sure everything was in order :O)!

He got down from that exploration and moved on to the next, pulling up on the chair. Note to self, do my scrapbooking when Traeger is sleeping.

I'm so thankful for funny moments like these in my day :O)!!

Creating memories with Nonnie

Nonnie came to visit us for 5 days while Grandpa was in Romania.

Nonnie was a huge help making meals, changing diapers...well pretty much she helped with everything! It was a lot of fun and we were sad to see her go!

Happy 9 Month Birthday Champ!

Yeah for Traeger, you're 9 months old!!!

We are still wondering where the time has gone. It's hard to believe Traeger is already 9 months old, 20 lbs, 29 inches long, has 7 teeth, crawls and is starting to pull up on things. The time has gone quickly but we are loving every minute of it!
Traeger is a daily reminder to us of God's goodness!

On the Road Again :O) !

Traeger and I are back from our 6 day trip south

to visit our dear family and friends.

We made the rounds and got to see a ton of people

who are close to our hearts but we don't get to see often.

Our first stop was to the Patrick household to hang out

and say good-bye to my dad before he left on a mission trip to Romania.

Our next stop was in Grafton to visit Jen

and see students I worked with when I interpreted for Abby (who is pictured below).

I really enjoyed catching up with Jen and seeing the kids.

I haven't seen them since 3rd grade and now they're in 7th - where did the time go ?!

Girls I loved seeing you!!

On Thursday evening we made it to Casey's and settled in until Sunday afternoon. We had a blast talking, going on our Target trip, watching movies (I actually stayed awake for 3 - a pure miracle :O)), and Casey got a babysitter from her school to come over and take care of Traeger while we went out to dinner and a movie!!

Since the weather wasn't really cooperating with us, we stayed in the area for 2 extra days. It wasn't a problem because we got to stop by for a short visit with the Heinens (Caleb and Traeger below)

We also got to hang out with John, Nicole and Annabelle on Sunday night. Thanks for braving the bad weather to hang out for a few hours - we loved it!!! Grandpa and Nana Hatfield were very pleased to have us stay for 2 days while we waited for the snow to finally stop! It was great to hang out with them (even though Grandpa whooped up on Nana and I in Settler's)!

Daddy was ready for us to be home after our extended trip to visit our dear friends and family!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to see and hang out with us - we loved every minute of it!!

Exercise routine

then we work on our stomach crunches with a ball between our legs...

then the fun begins, we get to shoot baskets :O)!!

The real story is Luke plays basketball on Monday nights and he left the basketball out. Traeger decided he found a new toy.

Quarterback (someday)

Thanks to Aunt Carole, Traeger was all geared up for the Super Bowl Game. He was sporting his Quarterback (someday) shirt for the big game! Of course Daddy loved the shirt too.

No more toothless smiles

Here's my best shot of those pearly whites. Thank the Lord for digital cameras. I would have used a whole roll just trying to get the teeth. 3 teeth are peeking through. The biggest one is in the middle which I think is the most obvious in the picture . Then look to the right and you'll see another and to the left is just a speck of a tooth.

Traeger's 8 months old!

At 8 months, Traeger has 3 teeth peeking out of his gums, he's crawling to any item he is set on playing with (cords in all :O), he also is trying to follow us into the kitchen if he is in the living room, office or entry way chattering the whole way showing his disapproval of us leaving the room, his new food for the week is crackers, and he is an incredible blessing from the Lord. Happy 8 month birthday champ!

A fun filled weekend

Thanks P family for joining us for a fun filled weekend. We had a blast playing endless games with the boys, sharing memories, watching "The Guardian" and zooming down the snow/ice hill. You guys are the best. We love you.

And the race is on!

Traeger is offically on the go. Traeger couldn't resist the tassels on the edge of the rug in the kitchen and before we knew it he was wrapped in the rug and on the way to finding something else he could get into! I know this is just the beginning of him getting into everything but I'm tired already :O)! Even though chasing him around can be tiring, it's amazing to see how God has made Traeger to be intrigued by and explore new things. Praise God for we are fearfully and wonderfully made! Psalm 139:14

No wasted space!

It is always amusing to me to check on Traeger after he has fallen asleep. It never ceases to amaze me how much of his crib mattress he uses. This time Traeger was pushed into the opposite corner that I found him laying in the other day when I sent out a different sleeping picture. There is nothing more peaceful than a sleeping baby.

Splish Splash Traeger was takin' a bath...

I know it looks odd to be splishin' and a splashin' in a storage tub and not a bath tub. There is an explanation behind it. In our new place we only have a shower so our solution is to either shower with Traeger or fill up a storage tub and have Traeger splash around and play with his toys. He absolutely loves splashing around in the water and playing with his rubber ducky. What kid doesn't like their rubber ducky? He's also learning that his voice echos in the storage tub so he gradually gets louder as the bath time goes on. The bottom picture is a suds up Traeger with a mohawk. More and more hair is coming in everyday.

Basketball Mania

Lately it seems like we have been able to watch a ton of basketball. We have been following the Medford Boys Basketball team and they have been doing quite well! Last week we went to check out the 7 and 8th grade Medford girls basketball because a lot of the girls go to the Youth Center and we're working on building those relationships too. For those of you who remember the DeLoye family I babysat for when I was in college, we went to watch their oldest boy, Sam, who is in 8th grade play for a Christian School from Wausau in Abbotsford last night. As always it's fun to see and hang out with the DeLoye family. Pictured is Maggie and Charlie playing with Traeger. The crazy thing is now they are old enough to babysit my son.

Happy 26th Birthday Luke!

We had a night full of Rocky's to celebrate Luke's 26th birthday...

Our first stop was Rocky Rococo Pizza.

We had some yummy pizza and breadsticks to start off the night. Then it was off to the movie theatre to watch Rocky Balboa. I have to admit I was a little skeptical of the Rocky movie as we were making the plans. But as a loving wife I thought I can handle two hours of a guys movie just for my Luke's birthday. Much to my surprise I actually really liked the movie and told Luke now we have to watch the other ones.

Pearly White

For a while now Traeger has been chewing on everything he can get his little fingers on. Now we know it's for a good reason because as of Monday a PEARLY WHITE has surfaced on the bottom right gum.

I'm a big kid now!

Look mom...one hand!

It's so much fun to watch Traeger grow and come up with new tricks. His latest trick is drinking his bottle with one hand. He will start holding on with two hands and then he gets adventurous and finishes up with one.

Yummy Carrots

Traeger's new food for the day was carrots! He ate the whole container with no problem. In a few days we'll add sweet potatoes. Fun times :O)!
