Yesterday Traeger went to visit Dr. Wrage for his 15 month check up. We're grateful Traeger is continuing to grow well and is a healthy little guy. Yesterday I had my second appointment for the baby. I'm 11 weeks along. Luke joined me for this appointment becuase I was pretty sure we'd get to hear the heartbeat and get an ultrasound. It was so incredible to hear the baby's heartbeat. The heartbeat was strong at a steady 170. Lynn Kern, the midwife, who delivered Traeger will get to walk this journey with us again. Although a little longer than with Traeger since we only saw her for the last 4 weeks due to just moving to WI when I was 36 weeks pregnant. We also got to see the lil' munchkin. At first he/she was still and then after a few minutes started moving around. We got to see the little heart beating strong, the short little arms and legs making movements, the spine and the head. What a joy and a blessing it is to get the opportunity to experience having a life being formed inside of me. What an honor and privilege. God is good! Sorry we don't have any pictures for you, we don't have a scanner to scan the ultrasound pics.
Traeger is such a busy boy. Since he is always on the go and sometimes going too fast for his little feet to keep up with him, he often falls. Traeger always has one or both of his knees scratched up. I've taught him to get up after a fall, rub his hands together to get the dirt off and brush off the dirt from his knees. It's pretty cute. However on Saturday he fell a little too hard and even got his elbow into it! That meant Traeger got his first band-aid and I'm sure many more will be needed in the future! 
Luke and I were finishing up supper when Traeger got dangerously quiet (you know how that goes). We knew he was in the office but went in to check on him and found him contently "working" at the computer. Before he knew that we found him we ran to get the camera to capture this photo.

One of Traeger's favorite things to do is go for walks and pick up anything that resembles a ball! The above picture is Traeger exploring under a tree and finding pine cones. The second picture is of Traeger picking up acorns. Traeger kept putting more and more acorns in his hand and eventually they kept falling out. I offered to help him but he insisted on making it work.
I was so sick of being stuck inside for the last few days that in between the rain showers yesterday Traeger and I went for a walk. It wasn't long before Traeger found the puddles. Despite my disgust of how dirty the water was, I let him go for it. It was so much fun to see him splashing around and having a blast. I forgot to take my camera so these were the sad, disappointed looking pictures because the fun was all over. 
Nicole and I get to experience pregnancy together again. This time our babies will be 6 months apart. We're excited to meet Miss. Madison Mikaela anytime between now and September 17th.
We worked diligently during the days on the Indian Reservation and then in the evenings got to go explore local sites like Wall Drug and the Badlands. 
On our way home we drove 2 hours out of the way to see Mt. Rushmore. It was totally worth seeing. We had an amazing time on the whole trip and thank God for blessing us beyond what we could have ever asked or imagined!
