We were so blessed this Christmas! We were able to have time off to relax and enjoy both of our families. We experienced safe travel as we covered many miles to visit family and friends. So much loved was poured out to us as we recieved tons of wonderful presents from others! Thanks to all for the gifts, the sacrifice of your time and sharing so much love with us this holiday season!
Christmas was a ton of fun this year as Traeger was at the age where he could open presents himself and enjoy the things he received. Traeger reading the book he got from Great Grandma Schroeder.

The Patrick, Bohn, Hatfield families celebrating Gideon's 8th Birthday at Red Robin. As tradition would have it we also went to the movie theater earlier in the day. I guess that's one good thing about having your birthday the day after Christmas, there are new kids movies out at the theater during Christmas vacation.
We had a blast sledding with the Patricks and Mom and Dad.

Breck, Traeger, Gideon and Kieran all tuckered out after an exhilerating time at Garbage Hill.
We also managed to squeeze in an overnight at a local hotel with the Patricks and Mom and Dad. Thanks to Nonnie and Grandpa, we had a fun time playing in the pool, hanging out together and playing games.
Our last morning with the Bohn and Patrick families. Saying good-bye and capturing a family picture before heading south to hang out with the Hatfield family for a few days!
Annabelle barely made it in the door and she was up on Uncle Luke's lap reading a story with cousin Traeger.

Thanks to Grandpa and Nana, Luke and I were able to get away for a lot of the New Year's Eve day/evening with FREE BABYSITTING. First we headed out with John and Nicole for br/lunch (minus the 3 kiddos) around 9:30 a.m. We got home in just enough time to take a 45 minute nap and then turn around and head to Olive Garden for supper. They were kind enough to watch Traeger again for the evening so we could ring in the New Year with our dear friends Casey and Jessi and Nick Smedal! We missed Jamie and Greg this year.
Happy 20 months big guy! Traeger has been growing like a weed and is talking more each day! He is starting to use 2 words together... ex. juice please! This is a big accomplishment as we've been working on it for quite some time and he still has a long way to go! Traeger has decided that he is a big boy and would like to sit at the table like Mommy and Daddy! With much hesitation, we decided that he could transition and is now eating his meals at the table with us!

He has started to enjoy "drawing"pictures. He also loves to make music with various objects around the house.
Grandpa and Nonnie stayed at a hotel since our home was already full! Traeger loved it because he got to go swimming! 
Overall it was a fun weekend to hang out and have a change of pace for a few days! The "Hatfield Hotel" is back in business as we are looking forward to Grandpa and Nana coming this upcoming weekend!
I didn't shed any tears over my first born being big enough to be done with a crib already, it just pulled a few of my heartstrings and was a good reminder to cherish each day because they do go by so quickly! Again, I'm glad parenthood comes at us in stages and that I didn't have to send him off to kindergarten just yet, but that day too will be here before I know it :O)!
