We got the chance to celebrate Truman turning 2!

Despite the rain the party went on and the ultimate goal was met, which was to reach out to the community and share God's love.

We got out Tuesday night and cheered on the Medford Raiders Volleyball team and made sure to cheer extra loud for #3!

Headed south...Saturday events.

Saturday morning I got out, by myself, for a much needed haircut. I always enjoy the time away getting pampered and a fresh look...oh so relaxing. Then it was off to lunch with the P family and then home for naps.

The P family took Traeger home for his first sleepover at their house....what a big boy!

Headed south...Friday night

While Luke worked all weekend, the kids and I headed south to celebrate my Dad's 54th birthday, catch up with Jimmy, get a haircut and hang out with family.

Friday afternoon we headed out, and the kids napped the whole way to Ripon...2 1/2 hours of quiet time is a beautiful thing :O) The kids woke up just in time to pick up Jimmy. Traeger hid behind me when he spotted Jimmy and as soon as Ataly realized who we were there to see, she started screaming and darted for Jimmy. Traeger loved checking out Jimmy's dorm room. The loft bed and cool video game systems sparked his curosity. Then it was off to Nonnie and Grandpa Bruce's for a little birthday celebration.

Shortly after arriving, the boys hit the creek in my parent's backyard to hunt for crayfish.

As tradition would have it, Friday night fish fry was on the menu.

Traeger made sure Jimmy was close by all night.

Ladies Day

Two couples from our small group work as missionary staff at a camp, about 20 minutes north of Medford, called Camp Forest Springs. We are learning more each day about what they do and how they serve the surrounding communities and beyond. Today I had the opportunity to enjoy one of their ministries, Ladies Day. It was a gorgeous day to join friends, fellowship and be fed the word of God. The day flew by but not without learning more, being challenged to believe God "Beyond Belief" (the theme for the day) and being refreshed spending time with other women.

Saturday night we spent hanging out with our dear friends, the Zenners, and helped celebrate a youth group kid's birthday.

Traeger joined Cubbies this year in our Awana program at church. He is thrilled that he gets to play games and learn verses just like a big boy.
