The Hatfields: #3 on the guest list to arrive

The Patricks left after lunch and two hours later we welcomed our 3rd set of visitors on our guest list :O)!

Nana and Grandpa were kind enough to serve us on New Years Eve and watched all 5 kids under the age of 2 1/2 so that we could go out and have a great time celebrating with John and Nicole.

We first went to Wausau and ate a delicious meal at Texas Roadhouse and were thinking of taking in a movie but decided bowling would afford us time to have a little more fun and chat more!

Nicole and I enjoyed time together and with our men!

The clock struck midnight and we welcomed 2009...Happy New Year!!!

Since our house was bursting at the seam with kiddos, Nana and Grandpa Tim got a hotel room for their time here. On New Year's Eve the four of us got to stay there and get a good nights rest (or as much rest as one can get going to bed around 2) while Nana and Grandpa were at home with the 5 kiddos!

We went swimming at the hotel. It took a little time for them both to warm up to the idea but once they did, it was non-stop fun until it was time to go!

the stairs had quite a bit of traffic while our visitors were here so this was Ataly's first time of really noticing the stairs. I'm not looking forward to when she wants to start going up and down.

The Patrick family: 2nd visitors to arrive on the guest list

Our second set of visitors arrived Sunday afternoon and stayed until Wednesday after lunch. We had a great time connecting with the P family!

Traeger thought this Christmas was pretty neat because the presents just kept coming with each set of visitors.

After Mom and Dad left and while Cori and I were preparing supper, the boys started a game of Monopoly!

once the kiddos were all nestled in their beds, we pulled out Guess Who and played it Hatfield style!

Taylor and Jimmy came over the hang out with the boys and Ataly so we could take a little time to connect with Cori and Adam uninterrupted by the kiddos.

we drove into Wausau and ate at BWW. The service was awful but the food and time to connect was great!

Cori took the boys outside for a little fun in the snow! Traeger lasted about 5 minutes and then came back inside. I think it took longer to get him all bundled up :O)

The snow in the backyard was up past Traeger's knees! G helping him so he didn't fall face first!

When you get 4 little boys and 2 big boys together a little computer game time is in order!

Watching movies...I love the idea of all the memories that we made this Christmas. So grateful to be blessed with special family to hang out with!

One thing I realized with having all of the cousins here is that the cousins didn't seem to have a problem keeping their clothes on but Traeger does. Not a big deal to me but everyone that was here noticed the trend too...what a goof :O)!

Mom and Dad Bohn: 1st visitors to arrive

Nonnie and Grandpa Bruce joined us for Christmas Eve and stayed until Sunday! The weather was classic December weather for WI which meant it snowed almost everyday and the days it didn't snow it was ridiculously cold. So that meant we enjoyed a lot of time inside playing with presents and enjoying each other's company!

Traeger was a huge fan of ripping into the presents to find out what the treasure was inside!

After each gift he opened he wanted to play with it...which meant opening presents took a long time.

PJs are over-rated in Traeger's book as he often goes to sleep in the clothes he wore for the day...not a battle worth fighting in our book. The harmonica was a huge hit with Traeger!

A "House" marathon kept Dad and Luke's attention for most of the day!

Dad also helped with a few projects around the house.

and Mom was our cook for the time they were here!

Sunday afternoon came all too quickly. Before we had to say our good-byes to our first set of visitors, the Patrick family arrived and we got to hang out all together for a short time before Dad and Mom were on their way.

Does this look comfortable to anyone? Occasionally I will find Ataly sleeping like this. I lay her down but she typically sits right up and plays until she falls asleep. So when she falls asleep mid play this is what you get...

Christmas 2008 photo shoot!

The Patrick family gave us a "family photo shoot" for our Christmas present! What a great idea since I love photos and especially of my family. Cori's sister-n-law came over to my parent's while we were in town for Thanksgiving. Thanks to everyone for making this happen! We will cherish the photos for a lifetime! I didn't share them until now since a few were used in our Christmas card!
